I still remember the sound. It rings through my ear like an eternal bell.

The Stillness is my personal sound art practice. My work highlights wave phenomena hidden within our environments to help listeners cultivate deeper ecological relationships. My pieces explore concepts such as harmonic resonance, biological audification, and the sonic qualities of materials.
From a young age, I studied jazz and symphonic trumpet, often competitively. Yet I ultimately found rigorous technical performance unfulfilling. My most profound experiences with sound have been ones of listening in silence—to resonant overtones, to natural soundscapes, and to the inner sound known as anahata or tinnitus. It is these experiences that most inform my current practice.
